Privacy Policy

Who we are

This website is No Casserole, at https://nocasserole.com. We publish and sell digital resources — books, journals, and guides — for parents and caregivers of disabled and special-needs children. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect and why

When you buy something. To process an order we collect your name, email address, and billing details. Payments are handled by Stripe; your full card information is entered on Stripe’s secure systems and is never stored on our site. We keep a record of your order so we can deliver your download and help you if something goes wrong.

When you subscribe. If you join our email list or tick “notify me of new posts,” we collect your email address so we can send you new articles, resources, and occasional updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

When you comment. If you leave a comment, we collect the information in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser details to help detect spam. If you use a Gravatar, an anonymized hash of your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service.

When you browse. Like most websites, we collect basic, anonymized usage data — pages visited, general location, device and browser type — through analytics tools (Google Analytics and Jetpack). This helps us understand what’s useful and improve the site. It is not used to identify you personally.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your shopping cart working, remember your preferences, and measure site traffic. If you leave a comment, you can opt in to a cookie that saves your name and email for next time. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some parts of the site may not work as well.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that make the site run:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — email list management
  • Google Analytics and Jetpack (Automattic) — site analytics
  • Our hosting provider — storing and serving the site

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting and support. Comments and their metadata are kept so we can recognize and manage follow-up comments. Subscribers stay on our list until they unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make any of these requests, email connect@nocasserole.com. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and stop comment notifications using the link in those emails.
